General Information about the Kern Kiosk Network
Visitors to the kiosks will be greeted by a “Splash Page” unique to each location. This page will attract attention by exhibiting a 20 to 30-second looping presentation of area attractions. Users will be invited to “touch now” for countywide visitor information or to learn more about the immediate area. Visitors seeking area information will be able to view a two to three-minute video highlighting the area’s attractions. Travelers selecting “Visitor Information” will select from a number of options. Information in these sections will be common to all units and can be updated simultaneously via the network.
The Board of Trade is excited and enthused by the progress being made in launching this cutting edge technology.
